A Tradition of Excellence
USA Jaguar athletics teams compete at the NCAA Division I level in eight men's and nine women's athletic sports. 南 Alabama is a charter member of the Sun Belt Conference, with a multisport history of excellence in competition and in the classroom. 足球 program competes in the 足球 Bowl Subdivision and participates in the College 足球决赛. The men's and women's 篮球 programs play home games on campus in the 10,000-seat 米切尔中心. Other on-campus venues include Stanky Field (baseball), Jaguar Field (softball), The Cage (soccer), Jaguar Track (track and field), Jaguar Gym (排球) and the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Courts (men's and women's tennis).
